Dr. Rhoderick J. Ramsey is a trusted expert in performance improvement, leadership development, and organizational learning with over 15 years of experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As the founder of Astute Performance Consulting (APC), he helps organizations close the gap between intention and impact by aligning strategy, people, and processes for measurable results.

Dr. Ramsey leads a comprehensive suite of services, including:

A skilled facilitator and systems thinker, Dr. Ramsey has advised government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and mission-driven organizations. His past work includes serving as a lead operations and branch systems facilitator at Capital One Bank, leading national safety training initiatives and supporting safety culture research for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration. He has also spearheaded large-scale assessments and strategic training interventions for Amazon and the United States Postal Service.

In addition to his corporate and federal expertise, Dr. Ramsey has worked closely with small and midsized organizations to develop and implement strategic plans, facilitate team alignment, and design high-impact workshops that accelerate growth and clarity.

He developed the KNOW Leadership Framework™, based on four essential components of leadership and performance: learning, culture, business, and strategy. This framework serves as his guiding approach to helping organizations achieve their goals with clarity and purpose.

Dr. Ramsey holds a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and Technology with a concentration in Instructional Systems Design. His approach is grounded in data, driven by results, and shaped by the belief that stronger leaders and smarter systems lead to lasting performance.
